Established in 2004, DSM Corridor Group (DCG) Ltd is a cargo handler based in Dar Es Salaam which specializes in non-liquid dry bulk and dangerous bulk goods, the company is involved in the handling of fertilizer, cereals, bulk sulphur, sugar, coal, clinker and different valuable minerals like copper and cobalt. To perform at the highest standards, DCG has invested over the years in its own port handling equipment, bulk terminal, clearing department and warehousing.

DCG is ISO 9001:2008 certified by SGS as one of the only logistics companies in Tanzania.

Bulk Terminal:

The DCG Bulk terminal is the only purpose built bulk terminal in Sub-Saharan Africa able to handle fertilizers. The terminal has a capacity of 25,000 Cubic Meters to handle all free flowing, non- liquid bulk commodities.

The main purpose of the bulk terminal is to reduce the lay time of bulk vessels in the port. Tipper trucks take the bulk cargo straight from the ship to the terminal. Direct bulk discharge almost doubles the speed compared to bagging on the quayside.

The second important advantage to use the bulk terminal is the clean and controlled outtake of cargo. Cargo can be taken out in 25 kg and 50 kg bags, as well as big bags (up to 1500 kg) and bulk. The 3 high-tech bagging machines provide accurate bag weights.

Next to the bulk terminal, DCG offers 3000 m2 of warehouse space for bagged fertilizer.
