Mauritius Ports Authority awards RINA a consultancy contract

Mauritius Ports Authority (MPA) awarded RINA, through international competition, a contract to provide consultancy services for Vessel Traffic System (VTS). In particular, this assignment aims to propose the most appropriate VTS for Port Louis Harbour in compliance with international standards and best practices, and taking into consideration the latest technologies available on the market and compatibility with existing systems.
RINA has extensive experience in VTS/VTMIS consultancy both from a technical and an operational point of view, based on several years of proactive support to key players, including industrial and institutional clients (Public Organizations, Ministries, International Agencies), in the design of integrated maritime systems and infrastructure, and in the supervision of the implementation process.
