Courtesy Call by The Tanzania Consul General in Mombasa to the PMAESA Secretariat

PMAESA Secretary General, Col. Andre Ciseau, on 13 October 2021, received the Consul General of Tanzania, Amb. Athman Haji and his Administration team at the PMAESA Secretariat offices in Kizingo – Mombasa.
The purpose of the meeting was to revisit and follow up on some of the several ongoing discussions between the Secretariat and the Tanzania Consulate; key among which is the planned visit of the PMAESA delegation to Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania in the course of the month. The aim of the visit is to meet key stakeholders and members of the Association and the Blue Economy Department.
Some of the other discussions that came up was on the promotion of Cruise Tourism in both lakes and seas, organizations of joint events in future between the Association and the Consulate of Tanzania.
Col. Ciseau expressed his appreciation to the Consul General for his assistance in facilitating the communication with the relevant Authorities in Tanzania for the planned visit and looks forward to a positive response soon.
