The EASTRIP is a five-year World Bank-funded project that brings together 16 regional flagship Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions in Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. The project brings a regional approach to developing the specialized TVET skills by creating a small cluster of regional TVET Centers of Excellence with the aim of bridging acute shortage of specialized TVET skills in the transport, energy, manufacturing, including agro-processing, and ICT, thereby accelerating the industrialization agenda.
