PMAESA Secretary General Pays Courtesy Visit to the Kenya Coast Guard Service

PMAESA Secretary General Col. Andre Ciseau paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Kenya Coast Guard Service (KCGS) Brig. Loonena Naisho at the KCGS headquarters in Liwatoni, Mombasa.
Col. Ciseau congratulated the Director General for his appointment and welcomed the opportunity to collaborate on issues of mutual interest to the 2 organizations.
The Secretary General highlighted ongoing PMAESA activities touching on Maritime Safety and Security that would benefit both organizations.
Brig. Naisho agreed there is need to work closely and create opportunities to collaborate and promote integration in our region, specifically in the areas of information sharing and capacity building and development.
Present during the meeting were KCGS Acting Chief of Staff, Col. (Rtd) George Shiundu, Ms. Joyce Awino, Director Enforcement and Response (KCGS) and Ms. Hilda Mwendwa, PMAESA Administration Officer.
