The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) and PMAESA formalize collaboration by signing an MoU in a bid to provide technical assistance to Port Authorities and National Hydrographic Offices in respective member states.
Details of the collaboration were discussed in an introductory meeting held online with the PMAESA Secretary General Col. Andre Ciseau on 18 August 2021.
Meeting participants from UKHO included Rear Admiral Rhett Hatcher, National Hydrographer & Director Data Acquisition and Defence, Samuel Winchester, Partnering and Engagement Officer – Middle East and Africa and James Timmins, Geographic Technical Lead.
The UKHO is the United Kingdom’s agency for providing hydrographic and marine geospatial data to mariners and maritime organisations across the world. The UKHO is a trading fund of the Ministry of Defence and is located in Taunton, Somerset.
