Seychelles Maritime Week 2024

The Seychelles Maritime Week 2024 hosted by PMAESA Member, the Seychelles Ports Authority, is holding from 24 – 26 September 2024 at the Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa.

Holding this event in Seychelles will promote East African and Western Indian Ocean Island ports, shipping and transport logistics infrastructure to foreign investment and trade.

The two days Conference Programme will feature 25 world-class conference speakers addressing topical issues and challenges for East Africa’s transportation and logistics infrastructure attended by a gathering of 250 senior executive harbour masters, harbour engineers, port engineers, maintenance supervisors and procurement decision makers together with the region’s leading shippers, cargo owners, importers/ exporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics companies, ports, terminal operating companies, railway operators, port equipment and services suppliers from countries throughout Africa.

Our members will also benefit from the following side-events:

  • Women’s Innovation Lab being convened in collaboration with INTERREG VI (23 September)
  • Launch of the PMAESA Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028 (24 September)
  • Green Port Development Imperatives such as the Toolkit for Green Port Development (including the piloting of the toolkit in Ports of Ngqura and Victoria)
