Membership Benefits
The benefits of being a PMAESA member are both direct and indirect and accrue onto members at regional (association level) as well as individual levels. PMAESA offers the best platform to better understand the dynamics in maritime, for instance, port reforms, are changing regionally and internally.
The Association has an outreach strategy, in which members are represented in relevant organizations involved in shaping the global policy, patterns, and enacting new requirements in maritime trade.

Joining the Association
PMAESA has three types of membership which is specific to the business nature of propective organization, with varying membership fees and rates for annual subscriptions as follows:
Full Members:
These are drawn from Port Authorities, Terminal and Port Operators whose membership fees and annual subscriptions are determined by their traffic broadband that has been approved by the PMAESA Board and implemented by the Secretariat.
Associate Members – Category A
This includes land-linked members with dry ports, Ministries of transport and infrastructure and Dry Ports.
Associate Members – Category B
This includes companies dealing in port, transport or maritime related business ranging from operations to human resource capacity building.
Observer Members
The membership type includes collaborators, enablers or companies dealing in port, transport or maritime related business.
